Each year, we produce a Statement of Accounts and Annual Governance Statement. The Statement of Accounts reports on income, expenditure, assets and liabilities for all council services.

Notice of delay in conclusion of audit 2022/23
Under the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 (as amended by the Accounts and Audit (Amendment) Regulations 2021), the council has published the audited 2022/23 Statement of Accounts including audit opinions for main accounts and the Pension Fund dated 25 March 2024. The Value for Money audit and Annual Governance Statement audit have been completed for 2022/23.
The notice of conclusion of audit for 2020/21, 2021/22 and 2022/23 will be published once:
- an objection to the 2020/21 statement of accounts is fully resolved
- the 2020/21, 2021/22 and 2022/23 audit certificates are provided by external auditors, Grant Thornton.

The Value for Money audit and Annual Governance Statement audit have been completed for 2021/22.
The notice of conclusion of audit for 2020/21 and 2021/22 will be published once:
- an objection to the 2020/21 statement of accounts is fully resolved
- the 2020/21 and 2021/22 audit certificates are provided by external auditors, Grant Thornton.
