Support for Carers

A carer is someone who provides help and support to a partner, child, relative, friend or neighbour who could not manage without their help. This could be due to age, physical or mental illness, addiction or disability. There are estimated to be over 13,000 carers in Islington.

Lots of support is available for carers, from both Islington Council and other local services. More information is available below or at the links to the left.
