Islington Council receive between 60-70 planning applications every week. You can view Planning Applications either here on the website or by visiting the council offices. (Major Applications can also be viewed at your local library)
Viewing applications on the website
We aim to publish all applications onto this website so you can view the details and any drawings submitted and, if you wish, make comments.
Viewing applications at the council
Current planning applications can be inspected at Contact Islington; for details, see the right-hand side of this page.
Please note: Planning applications from 1982 onwards are available, but supporting plans and other documents are only available for applications submitted since the 01 December 2005 launch of this service.
Viewing applications at libraries
Major development applications can be inspected at either Archway, Central, or Finsbury libraries. Normal branch opening hours apply, including evenings and weekends. Click the Local Libraries link, under Related Information on the right side of this page, for information on every borough library's opening times.
Each library in the borough has access to the internet so you can also visit the Online Planning service to find out about planning applications.
