Islington Council receives between 60-70 planning applications every week.
You can view a list of applications received and applications valid at the bottom of this page.
We aim to publish all applications onto this website so you can view the details and any drawings submitted and, if you wish, make comments.
We regret that there are some technical problems with our system at the moment. These have caused some residents problems either viewing planning documents or receiving notifications about applications. They have also resulted in us taking longer than we would like to process planning applications. Please bear with us.
We have posted some practical tips below to help and we will keep these regularly updated.

Viewing applications at libraries
You can view planning applications online at any of our Libraries. Click the Local Libraries link, under Related Pages on the right side of this page, for information on every borough library's opening times.
Historical planning records
Any planning applications made before 01 December 2005 are available in hard copy. However files need to be recalled from storage .There is no charge for this service. Please contact planning@islington.gov.uk for further information.
