There are additional parking controls which prioritise parking for local residents and businesses when there is a football match or event at Emirates Stadium.
How the scheme works
When Arsenal play football matches at home or hold events, such as concerts, controlled parking zones (CPZs) near Emirates Stadium have additional operating hours.
The extra operating hours are:
- from the end of the normal CPZ operating hours to 8.30pm
- Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays - 12 noon to 4.30pm
The controls prevent visitors to Arsenal from using the local parking spaces.
You will know when the additional controls are due to come into effect from additional notices on the CPZ entry signs. These will normally be displayed three days before a home match or stadium held event.
Where the scheme operates
To view a map showing where additional controls will be in place, see our matchday map. This map also shows the locations of the entry signs to the area which give advanced warning of events and tell you when additional operating hours are enforced.
Parking suspensions around Emirates Stadium
When there is an event at the Emirates some parking bays around the stadium are suspended. Signs for each bay show the date of the next event at the bottom of the sign. On the day before the event these signs will be 'un-flipped' to indicate the parking bay has been suspended. On the morning of the event , yellow ‘no waiting’ cones will be placed in the parking bays to show it is suspended.
Please familiarise yourself with the signs and check the dates on them for forthcoming suspensions.
Parking bays on Drayton Park - between Benwell Road and Bryantwood Road - will be suspended when the location is required for coach parking. The parking suspension will be under the same terms and conditions as above.
