Premises Variations

Premises Variations

Once you hold a premises licence, if you want to make changes to any of the operations on the licence you will need to apply for a variation. If you are making substantial changes to the premises you would need to apply for a new premises licence, but for most changes - such as extending opening times - a variation application is needed.

Applying for a licence variation

When you apply you need to advertise the variation using a notice put up at the premises and in the local press, so that interested parties such as near-by residents are informed of your proposed changes. All the basic information and documents you will need to do this are available to download below.
