You’ll also find further information by typing your postcode into the neighbourhood statistics website.

Caledonian Ward councillors are working with residents and community groups to tackle the issues that matter locally and to hold the council and other services to account.

Ward Improvement Plan

The partnership has agreed a plan which sets out the priorities and projects for the ward and where it wants funding and grants to be spent.

Ward Improvement Plans (WIPs) have been developed for each ward in consultation with ward councillors. The WIPs represent an opportunity for investment priorities to be agreed in advance so that funding opportunities can be directed, where possible, towards the highest priority schemes in that ward.

In addition, the WIPs create a more inclusive process for identifying and prioritising schemes, with ward councillors and Ward Partnerships able to participate in the ongoing review of the WIPs.

Following submission, the relevant Ward Partnership will be given the opportunity to consider and prioritise the new scheme proposal for inclusion in the WIP for that ward.

Before submitting a new scheme, please check that a related scheme is not already included in the relevant Ward Improvement Plan.

Getting Involved

Contact your ward councillors who are always keen to hear your views on how to improve the area, come to one of the partnership’s public meetings to discuss local issues or visit the Team Cally website.

The King’s Cross Environment community website is another way to engage online on local issues as well as find out what’s happening in the area.
