Pedestrian or cyclist drop-off point

There is no pedestrian or cyclist access inside the Reuse and Recycling Centre, but pedestrians and cyclists can bring a range of recyclable or reusable materials to the drop-off point at the Hornsey Street entrance.

For practical and safety reasons, we cannot accept the following items at the pedestrian drop-off point. You can still bring them in a vehicle.

  • builders rubble
  • commercial batteries (for example, emergency lighting batteries)
  • cooking oil
  • gas bottles
  • general household rubbish
  • hazardous waste
  • large appliances
  • large items of furniture
  • light bulbs and fluorescent tubes
  • mixed household recycling
  • paint
  • soil
  • waste from businesses.
