The Archway Low Carbon Zone street champion challenge!

Can you can get the residents in your street to save the most energy in the Archway Low Carbon Zone?

The Archway Low Carbon Zone is one of ten flagship areas in London chosen to reduce its carbon emissions. The Zone has a target of reducing its carbon emissions by 20% by 2012. This is your chance to win an exciting prize and have your street crowned the most energy efficient in the Zone!

We are looking for local street champions to work with their neighbours to get as many energy saving improvements made to homes in their street as possible. This could be draught proofing, loft insulation or replacing an old boiler.

As part of the Archway Low Carbon Zone, there are lots of grants and discounts to help residents make changes and every street champion who gets 20 improvements made will receive a prize. The challenge will last from September to November this year and we will be looking to recruit champions over the summer.

To become a street champion for your street call 0207 527 8329 and you will receive a pack with full details of how to get started.
