Go Green

Go Green

We all want to live and work in communities which are clean, safe, green, friendly and affordable.  Living sustainably is about improving wellbeing and quality of life and is a good way of making money last longer. There are many practical steps we can take to do this such as:

  • Learning to run more energy efficient homes which are easy and affordable to keep warm and cool
  • Eating healthy, affordable and nutritious food
  • Reducing waste
  • Reusing and recycling where possible
  • Finding out what’s going on in local green spaces and parks
  • Walking and cycling more.
  • Setting up a food growing club.

We can help you by offering advice and support and by signposting you to useful contacts.
