We also oversee Homes for Islington, an arms length management organisation that has managed our rented and leasehold housing since 5 April 2004. We own Homes for Islington but it works as a separate organisation and is responsible for its own contracts. Our Strategic Procurement Team advises all council departments on how to buy in works, goods and services. The way we buy goods, services and works is set out in our Procurement Rules. To view a copy of the rules, click on the Procurement Rules link on the left hand side of this page.
These rules provides a framework for procuring (buying in) and aims to make sure that we get value for money.
