Getting there
By bus: 4, 19, 30, 43
By tube: Highbury and Islington Station
By train: Via Silverlink to Highbury and Islington Station
By road: The front entrance to the building is on Upper Street, with limited on street parking available within 50m.

Parking

There is a small car-park at the front of the Town Hall. There is also limited on-street parking available in Upper Street. Parking is permitted on the northbound side of Upper Street up to 1pm, and on the southbound (where the Town Hall is located) from 1pm onwards; three hours maximum for Blue Badge holders.

Should you require car parking for a visit to the Town Hall please contact the Town Hall reception on 020 7527 3106 / 3109 to book a space.

When booking please provide the following information:

  • vehicle make
  • model
  • colour
  • registration mark
  • approximate time of arrival
  • mobile telephone number (not obligatory)

On arrival please drive your vehicle onto the dark paved area, stop ring reception and one of the access control team will come and remove the parking control bollards to enable you to park.

The parking control bollards are a necessary inconvenience to protect the parking spaces for booked users.

Parking convenience will be further improved by the addition of a call point at the car park entry. This is a specialist build item and is currently on order.

Disabled Access

Pedestrian approach:
The front entrance of the building is set back from Upper Street and there is a ramp for people with mobility difficulties.

Drop-off point:
For people with mobility difficulties, the nearest accessible drop-off point is in the Town Hall car park.

Level/ ramped access:
There is level access into the building at the top of the ramp/ steps.

Reception:
The reception desk is immediately inside the entrance to the building.

Toilets:
There are a number of accessible toilets in the building; ask at the reception desk.

Access to other floors:

  • Lift
    There are accessible lifts to the other floors. People with mobility difficulties will need to use a platform lift to take them to the lower ground level, where the lifts are located.
  • Stairs


Communication equipment:
There is no induction loop available at the reception counter.
