There are many ways to become an active citizen, helping to shape the borough and its services.

The amount of time you put in is up to you, with opportunities ranging from getting your views heard by taking part in one off consultations, keeping an eye on your local park or streets, helping to improve pupil achievement in an Islington school to longer term commitments such as fostering.

Consultations

Education Business Partnership
Looking for businesses and employees to help prepare young people for the world of work.

Eyes for Islington
Become one of the many eyes and ears of the borough, looking out for and reporting problems in your streets, parks and communities. 

Fostering
Provide a caring environment for a child or young person in need whether you’re married, single or a same sex couple.

Patient and Public Involvement Forum
Join other local people raising awareness of the needs and views of patients and public to improve health services.

School Governors
Islington schools need people from all walks of life, including business, to support their management and raise achievement.
