Once you have given your notice of marriage, we will contact you to outline the procedure for a civil marriage or partnership ceremony. This is your chance to make the ceremony perfect for you both. Copies of the ceremonies can be forwarded to you by email for you to add your personal touch.

About eight weeks before the date of your wedding or civil partnership, you should arrange an appointment to visit the Register Office to discuss the details with the Superintendent Registrar or the Deputy Superintendent Registrar who will conduct your ceremony, and to pay any outstanding fees. The ceremony and any agreed changes can then be finalised.
