A marriage or civil partnership ceremony can take place in any venue that is licensed for the registration and celebration of marriages and civil partnerships. In addition to the ceremony rooms at the Town Hall, there are various approved venues throughout Islington and the City of London where you can hold your ceremony.

If you are planning to hold your ceremony at one of our approved venues, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange for the registrars to officiate at the ceremony and register your marriage or civil ceremony. If you are planning a religious ceremony, at a church or other religious establishment, please contact the religious minister or registering officer for more information.
