Health and Wellbeing Partnership Board
The Health and Wellbeing Partnership brings together key partner organisations to help deliver the statutory responsibilities for
- Health improvement and social care
- The wider determinants of health
- Reducing health inequalities
Members of the Board include professionals from statutory and voluntary community sectors.
The core activities of the partnership include:
- Delivering and monitoring the targets found in the health and older people block of Islington’s Local Area Agreement (LAA).
- Delivering the partnership elements of the PCT’s Local Delivery Plan (LDP).
- Promote learning and good practice.
- Promote improvements in health services
The projects funded include:
- Smoking cessation programme
- Breast feeding Peer Support Network & Baby Friendly Initiative
- Healthy Schools
- Sports Activities
- Rent Guarantee Scheme and Young People's Rent Guarantee Scheme
- Life Skills Programme
- Overcrowding
- Enhanced IAPT - website
- Enhancing Mental Health First Aid
- Mental Wellbeing Champions Programme
