Easter service changes

During the Easter period, some of our services will be operating slightly different hours. Our council’s bin collection schedule will change for one week starting on Friday 29 March to make sure everyone’s waste is picked up around the bank holiday.

Or come to our offices at 222 Upper Street, N1 1XR if you would prefer to talk to someone in person. 

You can speak to a teacher, head teacher, health visitor, school nurse or GP if you prefer. 

There is also a specialist police unit which you can contact by calling 020 8733 4286.

Child missing from school 

All children living in Islington aged 5 to 16 years must be in full-time education. If you know of a child who’s not attending school and isn’t being home schooled please complete an out of school notification form, available from useful documents. For more information, call 020 7527 3747 or email PupilServices@islington.gov.uk 

Children and young people missing from home 

If you’re thinking of running away from home or you know someone who is, call the Children’s Services Contact Team on 020 7527 7400 to speak to someone who will listen and can help. 

If you are the parent or carer of a young person who has gone missing, call the Metropolitan Police Missing Persons line on 0759 500 4082.
