IBET has compiled a directory of companies in the construction-related trades, which is regularly updated. This currently has around 200 companies that have qualified for entry after completing certain information requirements.

IBET has an ongoing research programme, which identifies local companies that can benefit from property developments in the borough. We are looking for companies with the experience and capacity to take on contracts from the main contractors or their subcontractors.
The sectors we research are:
Building Trades include: groundworks, concrete frame, piling, architectural metalwork, cladding, blockwork, glazing, mechanical and electrical installation, roofing, plastering and screeding, dry lining, painting and decorating, carpentry, door sets, tiling, flooring, landscaping, shopfitting, cleaning and many subsectors within these.
Building Suppliers include: builders merchants, plumbing and sanitaryware merchants, timber merchants, glass and mirrors, electrical wholesalers, decorating merchants, plant hire, kitchen and bathroom fittings, security products and services, ironmongery, locks, furniture manufacturers/ wholesalers, carpets, cleaning materials, IT services, workwear.
Post-completion sectors identified so far include:repairs, maintenance, cleaning, security, grounds maintenance, mecchanical and electrical and janitorial supplies.
