Concerts and public events

Take a look below for a full list of concerts and other public events.

For most – but not all – concerts, doors open at 7pm and a support act will precede the headline performer. We normally only get stage times on the day of the show. For details, visit our Facebook page on the day of the show.

Islington Assembly Hall does not sell tickets for concerts or any other events. Tickets are available through various ticketing agents. This page links to external websites for ticket sales.

For the majority of concerts, our balcony will be open and two types of tickets will be sold. The downstairs area is normally all standing and is often described on ticket sites as 'general admission'. Our balcony has fixed seating, which is unreserved so if you wish have a seat during the concert, you should select the 'Unreserved seating' option. For details of our facilities for disabled customers, please visit our Policies section section.
Please note that some concerts have seating downstairs. Others are standing only with the balcony closed. If the arrangements and ticket types are not clear on the website from which you are purchasing tickets, please get in touch with us and we will be happy to help.

When concert tickets have sold out, some websites will state to contact the venue. Please note that this is default text and we do not sell tickets at the venue. As soon as we know that all tickets have been sold by all agents, we will update the listing on this page to show that it has sold out.

Over-16s policy

The venue runs an over-16s policy for concerts, unless otherwise stated. Please see our Policies section for more information.

Cash-only bar

The bars in the venue take cash only and we do not have the facility for payment by card at concerts. We also have a no-readmission policy so please ensure you come at the time you wish to enjoy the show, as you will not be able to pick up tickets to come back later. Please see our Policies section for more information.
