Cycle Training

Cycle Training

Islington Council is committed to helping residents and businesses improve the environment and their health and wellbeing. By cycling, not only are you improving your chances of leading a longer, healthier life but you are also helping to make Islington a greener place to live and work. Did you know...

Cycling for at least 30 minutes a day gives people a level of fitness equivalent to being 10 years younger.

Cycling in London is one of the fastest forms of transport available and allows you to go from door to door at your leisure. It does come with an associated risk but fortunately serious accidents are rare. Did you know...

There is one cyclist death per 33 million kilometres cycled – it would take the average cyclist 21,000 years to ride that far.

If you want to improve your cycling skills and confidence on the road, the Council offers free cycle training to residents and employees based within the borough. To sign up for these courses, please read the information on the training pages for adults and children.
