Where to park

There are a number of dedicated business only parking bays in Islington but business permit holders can also park in some of the shared use parking bays within CPZs. As we provide pay and display parking for customers close to most businesses, business parking bays may not be adjacent to your premises.

Business permit holders may park in the following type of bays:

• business permit holders only
• permit holders only
• business permit holders or pay and display only – shared us
• permit holders or pay and display – shared use

Business permit holders can use parking places where the sign reads 'Business Permit Holders' or 'Permit Holders' followed by the zone letter to which the permit applies.

Always make sure you read the signs and that you are permitted to park in the bay.

Due to the very limited amount of parking space in controlled zone B the business permit scheme does not operate in this area.
