Some schools in Islington are entitled to apply for parking permits for vehicles being used for school duties (we don't issue permits to facilitate staff commuting).
Each school which qualifies can apply for a maximum of three permits and each permit may have up to four registration numbers on it. A school permit costs £250 a year.
The school’s Head Teacher should apply for permits in writing. The application must explain the reason that the permit is needed. Copies of applicable vehicle registration documents should also be included. If the details are unchanged when renewing the permit, the written application and vehicle documents are not required.
