To help support Islington's businesses you can now park for free in the Archway area every Saturday until 29 May. You can park for up to two hours in any pay and display bay.
You won’t need to buy a ticket – just park up in a pay and display bay. To give everyone a fair chance to park , we ask that you stick to the two hour limit. Parking staff will be patrolling to ensure the bays are used fairly. This concession does not apply to parking on Transport for London Red Routes - roads with double red lines - within the Borough.
A map of the free bays can be downloaded at the bottom of this page - Archway Free Saturday Parking.
Some parking spaces in Turnmill Street have been removed until further notice. Parking spaces are still available at the junction of Clerkenwell Road turning into Turnmill Street, however these may be suspended at short notice. This is to facilitate Network Rail redevelopment work at Farringdon Station as part of the Thameslink upgrade programme. The development works will allow more capacity at the station as well as facilitate the new Crossrail services when they are launched.
Parking provision in the surrounding streets remains unchanged. For information about where you can park follow the link to Park Up under Useful Websites.
If you have any further questions please contact Network Rail on 08457 11 41 41.
