Vouchers for Permits

Islington Council is encouraging residents to surrender their parking permits. In return they will receive a £200 voucher towards a new bicycle or Streetcar membership and drive hours.

Who can apply: Any resident of Islington that has had their parking permit for at least one year.

What you will get in return: You can choose between:

• A £200 voucher towards a bicycle and/or accessories at Holloway Cycles, or
• Membership and drive hours (total value £200) with Streetcar, Islington’s pay-as-you-go car club.

How to apply: Just download the form at the bottom of this page and post it, with your residents permit, to Islington Parking Services, 69-85 Old Street, London EC1V 9HX. The vouchers are offered to the first 300 permit holders who apply.

What happens next: You will receive a refund for any remaining value of your permit and a letter confirming that your vouchers are waiting for you either at Holloway Cycles or Streetcar. All participants will need to fill out a short travel diary after one month.

Please note: Residents who give up their parking permit in exchange for vouchers will not be eligible to apply for another Islington resident's permit under the same name or for the same vehicle registration number for two years.
