Islington celebrated its second annual Sports and Cycling festival at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday 21 June. Over 13,000 people came to try out the huge range of sports available from cycling to karate, football to crazy golf.

The cycling zone was extremely popular. With a cycling cinema, loads of bicycles to try out and the Bike Doctor on site to fix bicycles, there was something for everyone. Nokia held virtual races against James Cracknell, while residents battled it out with Rollapalluza's roller race. The crowd was wowed by live bmx stunt shows from Inertia and Team Extreme.
