Local Residents

As a resident living near to Emirates Stadium, there are a few things that you'll need to know.

Parking Permits

As a resident of Islington you may purchase a resident parking permit or visitor vouchers, subject to eligibility, that allows you and/or your visitors to park in any residents bay within a controlled parking zone (CPZ).

As a resident living nearby the stadiium, you will also need to request a special road closure access permit, which ensures you have vehicle access to and from your home up to one hour before a match starts.

You will need to contact the parking team to arrange these permits. Click the link on the right-hand side of this page for more information.

How do I find out about fixtures?

You can check fixtures on Arsenal's website by clicking the link on the right. This will also give any changes to match dates or times.

To receive an email alert on the next match taking place, send a blank email to join-fixtures@list.arsenal.co.uk

Arsenal Football Club now provide a new email service with details of the events that may impact residents living in Islington. Those registered with this alert service will not be sent details of away games that do not affect the area around the Emirates Stadium.

An email will be sent prior to all matches and events at the Emirates Stadium with full details including date, time of event, road closures and parking restrictions.

To register for this service send a blank email to islingtonresidents@arsenal.co.uk

What do I need to know on match days?

In order to safely manage the crowds that visit Emirates Stadium on match days, we need to close some roads and tube stations. We also need to manage the number of cars parking in our streets, so we have introduced controlled parking zones to prioritise parking for residents and businesses.

To download information about traffic arrangements on match days, click the link at the bottom of this page.

Click the Transport Information link on the right-hand side of this page for information about road closures, public transport and match day parking.

We are also working hard to manage litter, noise and pollution on match days.  To find out more, click the Streets around Arsenal link on the right.

If you would like to make a comment or enquiry online, click the link for Arsenal Liaison Committee Comments Form on the right, under Useful Websites. Alternatively you can call Contact Islington on 020 7527 2000.
