Amazonas Capoeira Academy

Capoeira is a sport, art, theatre, martial art, music, history, culture and ritual. Capoeira is a Brazilian art form with African roots and was developed in Brazil during the colonial period. Classes run throughout the week for all levels of ability.

This group teaches scuba diving on a voluntary (i.e. unpaid) basis, organising diving clubs and events. The group has set up a snorkelling class at Highbury Grove, for example.
