Regents Canoe Club

This club meets on Monday and Thursday evenings, 6.30pm - 8.30pm, and caters for anyone over the age of 16. They organise whitewater canoeing, slalom, Canadian canoeing, canoe polo, whitewater racing, surfing and marathon. They also organise trips and social events.

Islington Boat Club

This club offers canoeing and sailing instruction in a youth club environment to young people aged 9 - 18 years. They welcome both beginners and experienced sailors alike. They also arrange for members to take various canoeing and sailing awards along with various coaching awards.

Castle Climbing Centre

This club is situated at Green Lanes, in Stoke Newington, in a Victorian folly that was formerly a water pumping station. They run courses from absolute beginners to advanced.

Alexandra Park Cricket Club

The APCC fields four regular Saturday, two Sunday and one midweek league cricket team. Players of all standards are welcome, with three of the Saturday sides playing in the Middlesex League. Training runs all year round and new members are more than welcome.

Calthorpe Cricket Club

This cricket club play at the private Calthorpe Ground. They have two Saturday teams and one Sunday team. Colts selection starts at 12 years and practice is every Friday during the summer period.

Old Camdenians Cricket and Football Clubs

The clubs were initially comprised of the former pupils of Holloway School, Islington, but are now open to all members. The cricket club runs two league teams, playing on Saturdays, and two friendly teams who play on Sundays. The football club runs five Saturday league teams, plus a veterans 11 on Sunday.

Stoke Newington Cricket School

This is a junior cricket club, offering cricket coaching and opportunities to play matches for young people aged 5 - 15 years. Coaches are England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) qualified and the club meets on Saturday mornings at Stoke Newington School, (9.15am - 10.30am for 7 years and under, 10.30am - 12.30am for over 7's). Cost is £1 to join and 50p per week. The club also incorporates members of the Middlesex Colts Association Leagues, who work closely with local primary schools to bring cricket to the children of the Hackney and Islington areas.

Wray Crescent Cricket School

The club is a multi-sports club for adults (16 years and over) with learning disabilities. The club offers a selection of sports such as trampolining, badminton, cricket, fitness, circuits etc. They also organise days out.
