This is a scheme open to council and housing association tenants who live in London and may consider moving out of London to the coast or countryside. The properties are based in coastal and country areas from Cornwall in the South West, to Norfolk on the East coast, as well as in the Midlands and Lincolnshire.
You must be a council or housing association tenant living in London. You must be at least 60 years old, and able to live without support.
There are about 3,200 flats and bungalows (about 250 vacancies a year). All the bungalows have two bedrooms. The flats have one or two bedrooms.
Rents vary depending on many things, including size, location and services. Heating, water rates and council charges are not included in the rent.
