Changes to the councils housing allocation scheme were agreed by the council’s Executive in September 2009.
The main changes are :
The changes to the allocation scheme will be implemented on Tuesday 9 March 2010.
All households currently on the Council’s housing register will receive a letter in early March 2010 advising them of the changes; the letter includes a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) about the housing register and choice based lettings.
