Private Sector Housing Grants

The council gives grants to enable the repair and adaptation of owner-occupied and private rented homes. These grants are not available for council housing. Grants are made to owner-occupiers with low incomes to facilitate repair and renovate houses in disrepair and to provide adaptations for people with disabilities.

Grants are also made to landlords of sub-standard houses in multiple occupation and for bringing empty properties into use.
