Private Sector Housing Grants

The council gives grants to enable the repair and adaptation of owner-occupied and private rented homes. These grants are not available for council housing. Grants are made to owner-occupiers with low incomes, to facilitate repair and renovate houses in disrepair and to provide adaptations for people with disabilities.

Due to recent budget cuts the Council has had to withdraw landlord grant funding and is therefore unable to offer any grants to private landlords.
