Local Land Charges

Welcome to the web pages of Islington's Local Land Charges Service.

Our team provides information to NLIS (national land information service), Solicitors, Personal Search Companies and Home Information Pack providers on behalf of customers involved in buying or selling land and property within the boundaries of the London Borough of Islington.

We investigate whether there are any legal restrictions which may affect the property, and bring all the information together in the form of a Local Authority Search.

For a Local Authority Search, information is collected from various departments throughout the council, including Environmental Health, Engineers, Planning, and Building Control.

You are now able to order and pay for your searches online. Just go to the property search page link on the left and submit your details, you will need to supply your details, the details of the property and payment details which should be a credit or debit card.
