Council social care services for people living with HIV and their carers are provided through the generic adult community care services.
The main goal of Adult Social Services is to support older people, disabled people and people with a long-term condition or illness to live as independently as possible in the community, preferably in their own home.

In some cases it may be necessary to share information about you in order to arrange services. We will not pass information you give us to anyone unless we have your permission, or we are required to by law. We will only pass on information that is relevant or required to arrange the service.

Online Self Assessment - You can now use the Internet to start the assessment process. This is called self-assessment. Self-assessment gives people the choice to assess their own needs or carry out an assessment on behalf of someone else. The completed form is automatically and securely sent to our Access Team.
