The National NRPF Network has been established with the backing of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) and Association of Directors of Children's Services (ADCS) Asylum Taskforce. The NRPF Network reports through its chair to the ADASS/ADCS Asylum Taskforce.
The NRPF Network Steering Group comprises senior representatives from local authorities across the UK who manage services for people who have NRPF. Steering Group members bring a breadth of expertise to the Network in areas such as asylum policy, children's services, adult social services, healthcare and local government strategy. The Steering Group guides the work of the Network, and provides advice on policy and strategic direction. The Steering Group meets quarterly.
The Chair of the Steering Group is Olvia Fellas, Head of Equalities, Refugee and Migrant Service at Islington Council. Islington Council also provides the secretariat for the Network.
The Network is committed to ensuring all regions of the United Kingdom are represented on the Steering Group. If you are a local authority officer working in a region that is not already represented on the sub-group and would be interested in joining, please email nrpf@islington.gov.uk.
