Welcome to the webpages of the NRPF Network, a network of local authorities focusing on the statutory response to destitute people from abroad who have no recourse to public funds (NRPF).
No recourse to public funds (NRPF) refers to destitute people from abroad who are subject to immigration control and have no entitlement to welfare benefits, Home Office support for asylum seekers or public housing.
Operating under the auspices of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) and the Association of Directors of Children's Social Services (ADCSS) Asylum Taskforce, the Network aims to support and represent local authorities, although other organisations may be invited to join. The network is hosted by Islington Council.

As well as the national work, there are also a number of regional NRPF Network groups, and the network is committed to working in partnership with other agencies, including government departments and the voluntary sector, to find solutions to the issues that arise with NRPF.
The network is open to all local authorities and their representative bodies. Other statutory and voluntary sector organisations with an interest in the statutory response to NRPF may be invited to participate in and contribute to the network.
