Better Care in Islington - Now an Even Easier Read

As part of the council's drive to make information accessible for all our residents you can now download a range of accessible formats of the fourth edition of 'BetterCare in Islington'. The magazine focuses on mobility issues - how to get out and about in Islington if you are an older or disabled resident.

'BetterCare' is the must-have magazine for local disabled people and carers, download your text, pdf, Easy Read or mp3 version today.

The different formats of 'BetterCare in Islington' are:

• A web friendly pdf

• A text version for screen reading software

• An Easy Read version with pictures and easy-to-read English

• 12 podcasts to download and listen to on your mp3 player or computer.

• An audio version on CD or tape available on request

The council is required to make information and services accessible to disabled people under the Disability Discrimination Act 2005.
