Allowances are paid to our foster carers to be spent on the child and to cover all their expenses.
These start from £215 per week for a baby, with allowances for a teenager being £300 per week. In addition to this we also pay a reward of £129 per week to our foster carers and further rewards of £103 per week per child if they have two or more children.
This means a total per child of between £344 and £429. We also pay extra allowances for children's summer holidays, birthdays and winter festivals to help you to make sure they enjoy themselves.
Foster carers with NVQ3 in caring for children and young people are paid an extra £100 per month. We offer assistance to carers whom wish to attend courses to gain this National Vocational Qualification and offer other training to help you give the best care possible.
We offer 24 hour support to our foster carers and you will have your own supervising social worker to support you in the task of fostering.
