Islington has many outdoor spaces across the borough from parks and open spaces to cemeteries and canals. Please see the links on the left for more details.
The new Enjoy Islington events diary (available to download at the bottom of the page) includes a selection of events and activities on offer from the council and partners in and around Islington. Nearly all of them are free to attend.

Be sure to check the "Out and About" pages of IslingtonNow - where you will find additional events and more up to date information for that particular month. You can also visit the online events diary.
There really is something for everyone to take part in - so make sure you enjoy what Islington has to offer.
The waiting list is now at least 10 years, therefore applications have unfortunately had to close with the names currently on the list.
If you need any further details, please contact the Greenspace Support Services Team on 020 7527 4953 or greenspace@islington.gov.uk
This year, Islington is representing London and the South East in the Britain in Bloom competition.
But it isn't just our public open spaces that the judges will be looking at. Front gardens, balconies, window boxes, community gardens, school grounds and business premises all count towards brightening the borough.
Have a look at the In Bloom pages of this website to find out how you can get involved.
