Climate Change Fund

The Climate Change Fund is now open!

Islington Council has created a £3 million Climate Change Fund to support green energy and transport capital projects that will reduce carbon dioxide emissions throughout the borough.

Householder Applications

Islington residents are now able to apply for funding to install renewable energy technologies in their homes. Renewable energy sources include solar panels, wind turbines and biomass boilers. The most suitable energy source will depend on the property, but our installers will help to recommend the right technology.

Community Applications

Funding is also available for voluntary organisations and housing associations wishing to install renewable energy.
