Cemetery Opening Times

Hampstead Cemetery gates open at 7.30am weekdays, 9.00am Saturdays and 10.00am Sundays and public holidays. The main gates will be closed to vehicular access from 3.30pm and locked from 4.00pm each day. However the pedestrian gates will be closed at the following times:

 

May -July 8.30pm
August  8.00pm
September  6.30pm
October   6pm
November - January 4pm
February  5pm
March   6.30pm
April     7.30pm      

                                                                                                                        

Please ensure that you have left the lower part of the cemetery at least 15 minutes prior to closing, as public footpath gates will be locked at that time

Dogs

Please keep your dog on a lead within the cemetery.

There are no available burial plots in Hampstead Cemetery.
