Drug Action Response Team

Islington Council provides a proactive and reactive Drug Action Response Team (DART) that services highway areas, schools and open spaces within Islington. The DART will remove items deemed hazardous, which includes anti-social items such as drug paraphenalia (syringes etc.), using a professional dedicated team.

Part of the service we provide includes the removal of any dead animals in public areas within 24 working hours. Although we do not collect dead animals from private land, commercial premises or home addresses, we can give advice on the removal from these areas.
