King’s Cross is a rapidly changing part of London. The Neighbourhood Framework document is designed to guide the regeneration priorities for the neighbouring communities in Islington. The document was developed in collaboration with these communities and other organisations working in the area. You can view this document on the Our Work page using the link on the left.
Kings Cross is divided into eight neighbourhood Action Plans – which outline key regeneration sites and other projects for implementation in the area. These projects are designed to help guide development control and regeneration programmes and to assist in levering in other funds such as S106 support, in order to pursue the implementation of the action projects.
In July 2005 the council adopted this plan as a Supplementary Planning Document. This means that the Neighbourhood Framework now forms a part of the emerging new plans for Islington. For more information see our pages on the Local Development Framework.
