Hours of operation

Site working hours are to be 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays. In order to maintain these hours, a period of one hour before and up to one to one hour after normal working hours will be used for start up and close down activities, e.g. deliveries, movement to place of work, unloading, maintenance, etc.

This does not include times on either side of the agreed working hours when operation of plant or machinery gives rise to excessive noise. The start-up and close-down periods are not considered an extension of the normal working hours.

Particular care will be taken to limit and control disturbance to local residents during such periods. In addition, there are to be no heavy vehicles at all during school term time between the hours of 8.30am and 9.15am, and 3.30pm and 4.15pm.
