We are currently consulting on a Draft Planning Brief for this site that has buildings on Riverside Road and Highbury Quadrant. It is close to Clissold Park, next to the White House pub.

The consultation is running from 29 October 2007 until 30 November 2007

as part of the consultation we will be holding drop in sessions in Birchmore Hall, Highbury Quadrant, N5 2AU at the following times:

Wednesday, 7 November from 6pm - 8pm.

Saturday, 10 November from 10am - 1pm,

We would like to hear what you think of ideas for redeveloping and regenerating the site. Islington Council proposes to seek a Housing Association as a partner to redevelop this Reception Centre site to provide high quality affordable housing including large, family sized units. The brief includes three options which provide some possible building layouts and cover the following issues:

  • Extends the Riversdale Road terrace completing the street.
  • Provides some family housing with front and rear gardens.
  • Promoting development which is accessible and environmentally sustainable.
