Joining the Partnership

The ICCP is open to any organisation in Islington. 

If you:

• are looking to reduce carbon emissions in your organisation

• have already reduced emissions in your organisation and want to go further

• want to help Islington lead the way towards reducing carbon emissions across our borough

Then the Islington Climate Change Partnership wants to hear from you.

What are the benefits?

Benefits of joining the partnership include reduced costs and competitive advantage as consumers become increasingly concerned about climate change.  Specifically, members will receive:

• opportunities to attend workshops and events to help you to cut carbon in your organisation

• mentoring and support from other members on how to implement energy efficiency measures and low carbon technologies

• advice and information on funding for low carbon technologies

• networking with other businesses and organisations

• regular updates on progress of CCP and the field of carbon reduction

We are also offering free energy audits to small businesses and voluntary organisations with less than 250 employees. Contact us for more information.

The first 100 organisations to pledge support to the Partnership will receive a free electrisave unit, designed to help users understand and reduce electricity.

What will the Partnership do?

If we are to respond to the threats posed by climate change then we must act quickly and in partnership. By working together, even the smallest changes can lead to significant reductions in carbon emissions.

Members of the ICCP will implement changes in their own organisations with the help and support of the Partnership. Measures will range from small-scale efficiency improvements to larger scale renewable projects. Whatever the changes, the ICCP will help organisations to deliver them. The ICCP will also help residents cut their carbon dioxide emissions.
