In-Service Education of Teachers and Practitioners Days

We recommend that all early years setting have five INSET days per year. When planning the focus for your Inset days, you need to take into account:

• your Ofsted recommendations (Ofsted asks you to complete an action plan for the particular areas your setting needs to develop)

• your, school/setting training and development plan, based on your self-evaluation and the CPD needs of your staff and/or actions arising from your Service Level Agreement

All our courses and events are open to whole staff teams. To book INSET days for your team either:

• Complete a booking form for a training course at Barnsbury for your whole team and please indicate on the booking form that the training is an INSET day. Please list all staff members attending. (There may be participants from other settings attending this training day

• Choose from the INSET training programme, download below. Complete a booking form, download below and send this to the PSEYT Admin by fax on 0207 527 5651.
