Early Years Foundation Stage Profile

This section will allow you to access Islington’s support materials in relation to the early years foundation stage profile. Two word documents are available at the bottom of this page. These are: FSP scale points and FSP table.

This year, Islington is moderating the areas of Problem Solving Reasoning and Numeracy and Physical Development. You will find the evaluation criteria for this in the downloadable word document below titled 'evaluation criteria'. 

There are also links for other additional materials to assist you in the reception assessment process. On the right hand side of this page you will find a link to the National Assessment Agency’s website where you will find information on the EYFS profile handbook. Here you will find further additional guidance, exemplification materials, information about the moderation process and other useful resources.

Also available for download below is a pdf which will give you guidance on making judgements against the scales when you are assessing children who are learning English as an additional language.
