Early Years CPD courses

This area contains details of our Early Years Continual Professional Development (CPD) courses.

Find out more by clicking on the individual PDF sections below where you can download a copy of our Early Years Continued Professional Development Brochure. This version is relevant to staff working in LBI Early Years Settings, and is broken down into sections relevant to specific practitioners.

We have produced a wall chart to cover the sprung & summer term courses. This chart is also cross referenced to indicate where and how the course meets the early years foundation stage criteria. This is available to download as a PDF below.

To find out about courses available from January 2009 to July 2010 first download the PDF Index of courses as this will provide you with titles of the courses available as well as the date they are being run. You will be able to read course descriptions by locating it in the downloadable pdf under the following titles; Areas of learning and Development, Leadership and Management, SEN and Inclusion, and Welfare Requirements. There is also a list of courses available from external providers, as well as our INSET menu.

Lastly, you will find a copy of our register of good practice. Please refer to this to find settings that can support you in developing a specific area.

You can download and print a copy of the booking form below to fax to us or you can fill in the online booking form (preferred method). By filling in the online booking form an email will be sent directly to the booking administrator. This will enable us to keep an online copy of your booking as well as highlighting your request immediately.

To guarantee a place, forms should be sent at least three weeks in advance, as courses are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. However, phone bookings can be taken at short notice.
