Punctuality and Attendance in the Early Years

A New leaflet for practitioners on how to support good attendance and punctuality in Foundation Stage. Islington has worryingly low figures for children’s attendance and punctuality at school and in response to these concerns, the Early Years Strategy Board requested that guidelines be drawn up to support practitioners and settings in working with children and families to develop good habits of attendance and punctuality in the early years phase. This leaflet is for early years staff and contains examples and ideas of ways to work with parents on this important issue. Please note this is not a leaflet for parents. Please use the link below to download a free copy.
