Islington's Sure Start Children's Centres offer support to families before and after the birth of your baby. They provide a base for local midwives, health visitors and other health professionals who can give advice on breastfeeding, hygiene, nutrition, safety and how to stop smoking.
To find out when ante-natal clinics and baby clinics are running in the centres either drop-in or call to make an appointment.
We can link children and families who have special and additional needs to other specialist services such as speech therapy, physiotherapy and mental health services. Your health visitor will work with you to make sure you are accessing the services you need locally.
All Children's Centre services are designed to support the whole family, parents as well as children.
