In-Year Admissions

If you are an Islington resident applying for a school place outside the primary (reception class) or secondary transfer process you must complete Islington's In-Year Application Form which you can download below.

If you do not live in Islington, you must apply using your ‘home’ local authority’s form (ie the council to whom you pay your council tax).

What next?

• Read the relevant school admissions brochure which you can download using the link below.
• Make sure you name three school preferences on your application form.
• Some schools require you to complete a supplementary information form. You can find these at the foot of the primary school reception and secondary transfer pages, or you can request them from the schools directly.
